About Dr. Torok

Claudia Torok, D.D.S., M.S.

Dr. Claudia Torok, an orthodontist and orthodontic researcher, has been practicing quality orthodontics in Los Angeles since 1997. She has done extensive research in the comparison of growth-related changes of size and shape of the maxilla in twins and has presented her work in the U.S., France, and Japan.

Dr. Torok attended UCLA Dental School, where she earned her DDS and MS degrees. She received her certificate in orthodontics from Oregon Health Sciences University in 1997. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, an honor accorded to a small percentage of orthodontists, and is an active member in several dental associations, including the American Association of Orthodontists, Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists and the American Dental Association.

Dr. Torok grew up in São Paulo, Brazil, but has lived in Santa Monica, CA, with her husband for the past 20 years. During her free time, she enjoys hiking, walking on the beach and especially spending time with her family.
