About Dr. Torok

Meet Dr. Claudia Torok

Dr. Torok has been practicing orthodontics in the Los Angeles area since 1997. She is deeply involved in the technical aspect of orthodontics and orthodontic research, and is always in pursuit of ways to make her patients' treatments more efficient by utilizing advanced orthodontic technology and procedures. Dr. Torok believes that everybody deserves to smile with confidence, and she is proud to welcome patients of all ages into her practice.

Dr. Torok attended UCLA Dental School, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree and her Master's of Science (MS) degree. She earned her certificate in orthodontics of Oregon Health Sciences University. Dr. Torok is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, and an active member of several professional dental associations, including the:

• American Association of Orthodontists
• Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists
• Western Los Angeles Dental Society
• American Dental Association
• California Dental Association

As an orthodontist, Dr. Torok has done extensive research in orthodontics, and she completes over 100 hours of continuing education credits every year covering various topics including general orthodontics, mechanics, complex multidisciplinary cases, and surgical cases. Dr. Torok works closely with general dentists and other specialists to make sure that her patients receive the most comprehensive care possible, no matter how minor or complex their cases may be.

Born and raised in São Paulo, Brazil, Dr. Torok has lived in Santa Monica with her husband for over 20 years. When she has free time, Dr. Torok enjoys reading, hiking, walking on the beach, and most of all, spending time with her husband and son.
